What we do

Full-Scope China ↔ Europe Cross-Ecosystem AI Visibility

Five stages, evidence-led throughout:

  • Assess — measure how AI platforms currently represent your company in the other market
  • Understand — trace any gap or inaccuracy to its cause: the sources, information structure, language and context behind it
  • Optimize — close real, addressable gaps: entity data, source content, cross-ecosystem source development
  • Verify — re-test against the baseline
  • Monitor & Refine — track it going forward, and refine again as platforms and sources change

The same five stages as The Bearing Method → — the full methodology behind every engagement.

It starts with an AI Visibility Audit

Scope

A defined query set — purchase-intent and category questions, agreed with you — tested across the major AI platforms relevant to your category, for your brand and up to three named competitors. Exact query count is set per engagement, not fixed in advance.

What it answers

Does your company appear at all? How is it described, and is that description accurate? Who appears instead, when it doesn't? Where is the gap relative to named competitors?

What you receive

A written report in English, plus one findings-review call with our team. The report includes the raw query outputs — actual platform transcripts — alongside the findings summary, so you see the evidence, not just a conclusion.

Methodology, in brief

Each query is run multiple times, across several days, per platform — not a single-pass snapshot. Full detail is on the Methodology page.

What the Audit gives you

The Audit gives you a clear, evidenced picture of where you stand today — not a fix, and not a guess. Fixing, verifying, and monitoring follow from what it finds, scoped and priced separately once you know what you're actually dealing with.

After the Audit — how we fix, verify, and monitor

Where the evidence may lead

Depending on what the Audit finds, this may include:

  • China: sources such as Baidu Baike, Zhihu, WeChat official accounts, category B2B directories (Made-in-China, Global Sources)
  • Europe / West: your site's structured data, Wikipedia and Wikidata, industry press, review platforms (G2, Capterra, Trustpilot) — exact set depends on your category

What we fix

  • Structured data and entity information that help AI systems interpret your company
  • Missing entity presence — a Baidu Baike entry, a Wikidata item, a Crunchbase profile, whichever is relevant to your platforms
  • Source-level content that's outdated, wrong, or absent

Cross-Ecosystem Source Development

Where the evidence shows that authoritative third-party sources are missing or weak, we work to strengthen your presence in the relevant information ecosystem:

  • Europe → China: sources relevant to AI-mediated discovery in China's ecosystem — trade press, industry portals, knowledge bases
  • China → Europe: sources relevant to AI-mediated discovery in the Western ecosystem — trade and industry media, structured data, reference sources

Verify & Monitor

We don't assume the intervention worked. We re-run the original measurement and compare it with the baseline — same queries, same platforms, before and after. Because AI systems and their source environments change, verification becomes monitoring — and monitoring informs the next refinement.

Scope and pricing are set per client, based on what the Audit actually finds.

Common questions

What services does China GEO EU provide?
AI-platform measurement, entity and source-level optimization, cross-ecosystem source development, and ongoing monitoring — for companies moving in either direction: Europe → China or China → Europe.
Are you an agency, or something else?
A cross-ecosystem AI visibility and intelligence practice — built around one evidence-led method applied in both directions, rather than a portfolio of generic marketing services.
What does "GEO" mean?
Generative Engine Optimization — the AI-search analogue to SEO. Where SEO optimizes for ranked links in a search results page, GEO is concerned with how a generative AI system represents you when it synthesizes an answer rather than returning a list. "China GEO EU" names what we do: GEO, applied across the China ↔ Europe ecosystem gap specifically.
How do you handle depth across different industries?
We don't assume category expertise we don't have. The Audit is scoped around your actual products, competitors, buyer questions, and target market. Where specialist industry knowledge is required, it becomes part of the engagement scope, not a generic template.
How is pricing determined?
Scope and fee depend on your category, platform coverage, number of competitors tracked, and whether one or both directions are in scope — set per engagement.
How is this different from SEO?
Classical SEO optimizes for ranked links in a search results page. An AI Visibility Audit measures what an AI system says when it synthesizes an answer — a different mechanism, with different sources and different failure modes.
Which AI platforms do you test?
Depends on category and direction — for China: platforms such as Doubao, DeepSeek, Kimi, and ERNIE Bot; for Europe and the wider West: the relevant set for your category, since the environment is fragmented rather than a single fixed list.
What do you need from us to run the Audit?
Your website and brand details, your product/category, up to three named competitors, and the purchase-intent questions relevant to your buyers — agreed together before the Audit starts.
How long does the Audit take?
One to two weeks from when the scope is confirmed, depending on the number of platforms and competitors tracked.
Is our data and the findings confidential?
Yes. Findings and underlying data are covered by a standard mutual NDA. Any personal data you share with us — through the contact form or during the engagement — is handled under GDPR, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
