About China GEO EU
The cross-ecosystem AI-visibility practice for companies moving between China and Europe — measuring how they're found, understood, and recommended, in both directions.
What China GEO EU is, and why it exists
AI-mediated discovery increasingly determines whether a company is found, understood, and recommended in a market it doesn't operate in daily. China and Europe aren't technologically symmetrical — China has a distinct, fast-moving domestic AI platform landscape; Europe and the wider Western market are fragmented across multiple providers. Moving in either direction isn't just crossing a border. It's entering an information environment that runs on different terms.
China GEO EU exists to make that gap measurable, explain why it exists in a given case, and close it where it genuinely can be — in both directions, not one.
How we approach it
Cross-ecosystem, not cross-border: the problem is how two different AI-mediated information environments represent the same company differently, not geography.
Measurement-first, not promise-first: we don't claim a result before we've checked for one.
Two-way by architecture: Europe → China and China → Europe share a method, not a copy-pasted service, because the underlying problem is the same even where the interventions differ.
Why this team is positioned to do it
China GEO EU is built by a team and a network of partners with direct, hands-on experience across cross-border market entry, SEO and GEO, and AI-mediated discovery — assembled around the specific cross-ecosystem problem this practice exists to solve, not a generalist marketing background.
Marin Tintchev, founder of China GEO EU, has spent more than three decades building and leading technology and ICT businesses internationally, primarily across China and Europe — operating not as an outside advisor, but as an executive who has held direct P&L and country-leadership responsibility inside them.
His career centers on a rare combination: deep, ground-level fluency in China's technology and innovation ecosystem, paired with senior commercial leadership across multiple European markets for a global technology leader, Huawei Technologies. Tintchev has led country and regional operations, market-entry strategy, and business development mandates that required being recognized and accepted by the institutional gatekeepers of markets he did not grow up in.
Alongside his corporate leadership, Tintchev is an entrepreneur in his own right. His early research into China's innovation ecosystem led him to co-found SINOVA Advisors, a China-based technology and innovation advisory built to put that thinking into practice — working at the intersection of R&D management, technology sourcing, startup identification, and venture capital and private equity funding.
His academic grounding matches his operating experience: an engineering degree from Tsinghua University, a leading Chinese academic institution in Beijing, and the academic research — also at Tsinghua's School of Economics and Management — into technological change, sector deregulation, and innovation policy within China's ICT sector that shaped SINOVA's own approach. He is fluent in Mandarin, English, Russian, and Bulgarian.
That pattern — being correctly recognized by the institutional and informational structures of a market you didn't grow up inside — is the direct, lived foundation of what The Bearing Method measures and improves for clients.
China GEO EU is built within GeoSynapse — Marin's venture studio for testing how AI is reshaping business creation.
